What motivates people to snack? 
What drives people to decide to snack?
 There are both functional (i.e. to get energy) and emotional (i.e. due to stress) drivers for why people snack. People participate in a mindful snacking experience by getting involved with their food, paying attention, and being immersed in the actual ritual of snacking with mixing or dipping, or stirring all the way to crunching or chewing in their mouth.
